Here’s more insider information the rest of the Broward Republican Executive Committee deserves to know. Christine Butler has to give 10 days notice of a BREC election. The next BREC meeting is scheduled for March 18, 2013. If they want to have an election that night she has a few hours left to announce it. Why wait to the last minute?
As we detailed the other day, Butler’s patron has a plan. They want to overwhelm BREC members with shiny mailers, emails and robocalls. By knowing the exact date, the patron and company can plan and pay for these things. They assume other candidates won’t have time to organize. Other candidates won’t have the BREC email list at their disposal. The other candidates won’t able to tap into the BREC robocall system. When others say it’s unfair, the insiders say “F-them. Who cares?”
That’s how Democrats think, not Republicans. No wonder we never get ahead in Broward county.
Expect an uninspired and underwhelming email from the equally uninspired and underwhelming Christine Butler at any minute. After last night’s story on her dismal performance at a Republican club, Butler complained loudly about just one thing: the unmasking of her patron.
Sorry Christine. More practice, less time on Facebook.
