According to Facebook, Broward Judge Ian Richards has a huge following among Miami residents ages 18-24. Sure social media can make anybody famous, but it seems peculiar that so many youngsters liked Richards’ re-election page on Facebook. Richards currently has more than 31,000 fans.
But over at Twitter, Richards is a social media failure. His “Keep Judge Richards” account has just 16 followers.
So what’s going on with Judge Richards’ social media campaign?
Is he sharing Chip LaMarca’s social media gang that couldn’t shoot straight?
Did he take a page from Judge Steven Feren’s social media playbook by purchasing fans?
Did the 31,000 Facebook fans help Judge Richards land the Muslim PAC seal of approval of Emerge USA?
Did Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness, a member of Richards’ campaign committee, get folks in Miami to like Facebook instead of Twitter?
